Your information
Privacy, without the fine-print maze.
This notice explains the information this edition collects, why it is used, and how to contact the publisher about your rights.
Effective November 2, 2026Who is responsible
Harsh Solanki publishes OneMoreLock and is the contact for editorial and privacy inquiries. Use the contact form and select “General or privacy inquiry” to request access, correction, deletion or clarification. Do not include identity documents or account passwords in your first message.
This notice applies to onemorelock.com, hosted by Hostinger. It covers information processed to deliver the website, protect it from abuse and handle your requests.
Information we collect
The contact form collects your name, email address, selected topic and message. It records receipt time and a handling status. We use these details to review the inquiry, respond where appropriate and follow up on corrections or privacy requests. Form acknowledgment is not a subscription to marketing.
Editorial accounts store an email address, an Argon2id password hash, role, account status and security timestamps. Author profiles store the biography, expertise, professional links and credential evidence supplied for publication. Login controls record keyed digests of account identifiers and network addresses, attempt outcomes and timing. These digests are pseudonymous security data, not guaranteed anonymity.
The server necessarily receives request information, including network address and requested URL, to deliver pages. Hosting access or error logs may record operational metadata. Avoid putting confidential details in URLs.
Cookies and local storage today
This edition uses an essential session cookie for sign-in, contact-form protection and account security. Production sessions use a Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict cookie. Session access expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or eight hours in total.
Browser localStorage entries named oml-theme and oml-motion remember your light/dark and animation choices. These preferences stay on your device until cleared and are not sent to an analytics service. They contain no account identifier. You can clear browser storage or use the theme and motion controls to change them.
No third-party analytics, behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking scripts are loaded by this edition. Reading ordinary research pages does not require an editorial account.
Anti-abuse protection and authenticator security
Cloudflare Turnstile protects our public forms against automated abuse. Cloudflare receives technical browser and network information for abuse detection, and our server sends the challenge token and visitor IP address to its verification service. The check is used for security, not behavioral advertising.
Authenticator secrets are encrypted on the server. Backup recovery codes are stored as Argon2id hashes and consumed once. Disabling an authenticator or changing a password invalidates account sessions.
Google AdSense, DoubleClick and DART cookies
Google AdSense is not enabled here and no Google advertising cookies are currently set by this application. If enabled later, Google and advertising partners may use cookies associated with Google or doubleclick.net to deliver, measure and personalize advertising. Older disclosures often call this the DoubleClick DART cookie; that name does not describe every cookie used by modern advertising products.
If advertising is introduced, we will update this notice with the providers and applicable privacy choices before activation. Where required, we will request consent before loading non-essential advertising. Google provides controls for personalized advertising and information about its advertising technologies.

Purpose and legal basis
We use inquiry details to handle the communication you initiate, and account/security data to provide and protect editorial access. Where GDPR or a similar law applies, the relevant basis may include legitimate interests in responding to correspondence and securing the service, performance of an account-related agreement, or a legal obligation. Optional non-essential processing must have an appropriate separate basis, including consent where required.
We do not use contact messages to build advertising profiles, sell personal information or make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Fraud and rate-limit checks may temporarily refuse requests to protect the service.
Retention and access
Contact messages expire from the editorial inbox after 90 days and are eligible for permanent removal through maintenance. Account records remain while access is needed; requests to remove an account are assessed together with required security and editorial records.
The maintenance job removes authentication tokens after expiry, security attempts after 90 days and audit events after 365 days. Hostinger also processes operational logs and backups as part of providing hosting. A deletion from the live application may take longer to disappear from a protected backup.
Access is restricted by role. We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no storage or communication system can offer absolute security. Do not send sensitive records that are unnecessary for your inquiry.
GDPR and related data rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful use. Rights are subject to the circumstances and legal exceptions. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority.
Send a request through the contact form. Explain the information and right involved. We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing or changing records; avoid sending excessive identity data. Requests are handled within the time limits required by the law that applies.
California privacy rights
If the CCPA/CPRA applies to the publisher and your request, California residents may have rights to know/access, correct or delete personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, without unlawful discrimination. Authorized-agent requests may require verification.
This edition does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. It does not introduce tracking when a Global Privacy Control signal is present. If advertising or other sharing is introduced, we will provide the applicable opt-out controls and honor required preference signals. Use the contact form for a privacy request.
Email research subscriptions
If you request research emails, we store your email address, request and confirmation timestamps, and consent version. We send a confirmation through Hostinger Email and activate your subscription only after you confirm it. This processing is based on your consent; you can withdraw it through the unsubscribe link in any research email. Unsubscribing deletes your address and linked delivery history.
Unconfirmed requests are removed after seven days by scheduled maintenance. We keep keyed anti-abuse digests for up to two days and delivery records while you remain subscribed to prevent duplicate research emails. Emails contain no tracking pixels. Hostinger processes recipient addresses and message content for delivery. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours; do not share them.
Public threat intelligence and RSS
The threat feed uses public CISA vulnerability data retrieved by this server from CISA’s official GitHub mirror. Your browser requests updates only from this site. We do not forward visitor network addresses, account cookies or contact submissions to that upstream source. The map is bundled locally and does not call a third-party map service.
RSS subscription means adding our public feed address to your chosen reader. This site does not collect an email address or create a marketing subscription when you open the RSS feed. Your chosen reader has its own privacy practices.
Providers, external links and changes
Hostinger provides website hosting and email delivery. Cloudflare provides Turnstile abuse protection. Authorized administrators can access information needed to operate the publication and handle requests. Contact submissions are stored in our private editorial inbox, not added to a marketing list. These providers may process information outside your country. Contact the publisher with questions about the processing of your information.
Linked websites have their own privacy practices. We do not control their content or cookies. This publication is written for a general technical audience and does not intentionally solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact the publisher so it can be reviewed.
The effective date appears at the top of this notice. We will update this notice when our collection or use of personal information changes.
